Practitioner Mr P.D.W Pragnell B.A B.S.Y(acu)(Spi) Spinal Therapist.

The Clinic of Spinal Therapy is situated in Seaview, Isle of Wight, England and has been established since 1979. We provide a combination of hands on manipulative treatment, acupressure and soft tissue massage.

What is it good for?
This manipulative treatment, acupressure and soft tissue massage is good for those people with - Back pain, Sciatica, Headaches, Vertigo, Trapped Nerves, Painful neck and shoulders as well as all joint related problems.

What are the benefits?
The main benefit of manipulation is that is loosens the jointal structures allowing the body freedom to repair, restoring balance to the musculo - skeletal system, resulting in easier pain free movements.

What does it involve?
The patient will initially be asked to provide a verbal history of their health. The patient will then be required to remove their outer layers of clothing so that the practitioner can assess the problem and can work directly on the body. The treatment is carried out whilst the patient is lying on a couch (treatment table) in the relaxed atmosphere.
The practitioner gently manipulates the joints, using his hands, and also his patients body weight, applying leverage to the affected areas. Depending on the condition, acupressure and soft tissue massage maybe used. The treatment usually takes 30 minutes but appointments may take longer if it is the first time or if there is an unusual problem.

We specialise in: Manipulation, Soft tissue massage, Acupressure, for the treatment of:- Back Pain, Vertigo, Headaches, Sciatica, Sports injuries, and all other joint related problems.

Treatment at The Clinic of Spinal Therapy

Treatment at The Clinic of Spinal Therapy helps many problems to do with the skeletal structure. Today's lifestyle is stressful for most people, and the body is subjected to many hours of inactivity, sitting hunched up at the computer, thus tightening the joints and muscles, which as a result causes pain.
